I live this family photo snapped just before I hopped in a Pam e back to Sydney. My parents, my brother and I are all smiling (at what I'm not sure but it worked!). So good to see the people I live. So hard to leave.

After the weeks of incessant rain in Sydney it's good to be back in the parched English countryside. Still beautiful.
As a doctor I'm fascinated by old medical textbooks. I picked up this tome at an antique shop recently and it's a gem. 
Written in 1913 (and edited in 1939) by, as far as I can tell, a group of male physicians, it devotes a total of three paragraphs

I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I write, and pay my respects to their elders, past, present and emerging, and extend those respects to the elders of all cultures.
